The Emu That Inspired Four Cups of Coffee
One of my favorite memories of I Am Not Emused came from an Etsy customer who wanted my emu illustration on a stainless steel travel mug for her husband.
I modified the design to suit her request, and afterward, she left a review that still makes me smile.
She told me her husband absolutely loved his new mug and laughed as soon as he opened the box.
But my favorite part?
He drank four cups of coffee the next day just because he wanted to keep using it!
Sometimes you never know where your artwork will end up or what kind of joy it might bring someone.
That little emu became part of someone's morning routine, and knowing it made him laugh was a wonderful reward.
It's moments like that that remind me why I love sharing my artwork.
